A note of gratitude from the Bael Family
We thank God, life, family, friends, associates & the numerous people that we have crossed paths with in our 20 years of diplomatic service that brought us to many shores, many doors, many hearts, many rich experiences in Madrid, Spain; Honolulu, Hawaii; Canberra, Australia; Los Angeles, California . To the places of our birth & childhood, our initial roots - for Edwin, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental & Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte; Betty - Cebu City & San Carlos City, Negros Occidental; Tristan, Manila & Los Banos, Laguna; Bernard, Madrid, Spain, and all those foreign places where we 'pitched tents' & afforded our sons with a global playground & a variety of "indoor gardens". We are also grateful to our Maker for bringing us to gently settle in the beautiful city of San Diego which we presently call "home".

In Loving Memory...
of my one and only Mother, Julia Nenita Pomar-Burgos - who journeyed to the great beyond in 1989 to join her Creator at the age of 59. A health-conscious individual and non-smoker, she died of lung cancer, a disease which is generally caused by environmental pollution. Her spiritual depth, love of family, creative mind, & zest for life are the most significant legacies she left us her children, grandchildren & our family's future generations. Today, her unsinkable spirit & beautiful soul still live on as our own family begins our quest for happy, creative, loving, healthy living.
